To Compress a Web File:

Access your cPanel account.

Choose File Manager after navigating to the FILES area.
It will open a new tab with the File Manager interface.

Right-click on the file you wish to compress and select the "Compress" option.
A popup window will appear, displaying options for file compression.

Choose the Compression Type according to your preference.
You can also modify the name for the compressed file in the text box.

Click the "Compress" button.
Another window will emerge, presenting the Compression Results. Close it.
The compressed file will appear in the list of files.
To Decompress a Web File:

Access your cPanel account.

Go to the FILES menu and choose File Manager.
A new tab containing the File Manager interface will appear.

Right-click on a compressed file and choose the "Extract" option.
The Extract window will appear.

Input the path for file extraction in the text box and click on "Extract Files."

The Extract Results window will show a summary of the extraction. Close it.
