A public IP address is an address that can be reached from the entire internet. You may need one if you have devices that you want to be able to reach when you are not at home and connected to your own network, for example, if you want to access a server or your cameras.
By default, all customers are under CGNAT, which, simply explained, means that you get a private IP address that you cannot access from the outside. You can, of course, order a public IP address that is bound to your private IP from us for an additional 40 SEK/month.
Create a support ticket stating that you want to bind a public IP address to your router and we will arrange it.
